History
The Haute Fevrie estate is located in the heart of the Muscadet Sevre et Maine appellation, 18 km southeast of Nantes. As winegrowers and harvesters for four generations, they observe and take care of their vines so that they produce the best grapes possible. Today, the estate has 26 ha, of which 60 vines are fully classified as Appellation d'Origine Controlee Muscadet Sevre et Maine.

Regional Information
The Loire region has a maritime climate, with cooling sea breezes from the Atlantic contributing to fresh and fruity wines with great acidity. Domaine la Haute Fevrie benefits from different exposures and soils (silicoclay, shallow stony, and metamorphic subsoil). The various plots therefore result in wines unique to their terroir.

Vinification Details
This outstanding Muscadet is made from the younger vines and is farmed organically, which is no small feat in such a famously wet and windswept region. The wine is aged for seven months in stainless steel tank, preserving its freshness.
