Naturally light, this Peruvian bean is a fantastically versatile bean with a range and depth perfect for those looking for an enjoyable, easy-drinking decaf. The immense altitudes amongst the cloud forests of Cajamarca in North-West Peru just seems to be one of those areas that was made for growing coffee. The high altitude, good sun, and just the right amount of rainfall are all reasons why this area is the place to source high quality, organically certified coffees. But this area in particular, and Peru in general, is seeing first hand what climate change is doing to coffee production. Decreasing rainfall and rising temperatures are shifting the scales in an ecosystem that just cannot cope with it, whilst growing cases of coffee rust and the increase in pests encouraged by the warming climate are making crop management unbearable.

Directions:

Store in a cool, dry place. Brewing Guide: Remove coffee back from sachet, and place in mug. Cover with boiled water, stir and squeeze the bag. Brew for 3-5 minutes. Remove the bag and enjoy.
