Step 1: Oven Preheat the oven to 180°C, 170°C fan assisted, Gas mark 4.Step 2: casserole dishHeat the oil in a frying pan and fry the beef and onions until browned. Place in an ovenproof casserole dish with the carrots and mushrooms.Step 3: mixing jug Blend the contents of the sachet with the water and add to the dish.Step 4: casserole dishCover and cook in the oven for 1 3/4 hours, or until the meat is tender. Enjoy with crusty bread or baked potatoes.

How to cook...1. Heat oven to 180 deg C (350 deg F) Gas 4.2. Place the beef, onions, carrots and mushrooms in an ovenproof casserole dish.3. Mix the contents of the sachet with the water and add to the casserole dish.4. Cover and cook in the oven for 1 3/4 hours or until the beef is tender.5. Ensure piping hot and serve immediately.ALSO SLOW COOKER FRIENDLY
