Clearspring's organic, premium quality rice is ideal for preparing sushi as well as everyday rice dishes. This short grain rice is light and sticky and remains soft after cooking. We have carefully selected this Selenio variety as it has the same characteristics as the rice that is traditionally used in Japanese cooking.

Preparation and Usage
Cooking Instructions (Serves 2)1 Wash one cup (190g) of Sushi Rice in cold water and drain.2 Transfer to a saucepan with 1 1/4 cups (300ml) of cold water and leave to soak for 30 minutes.3 Bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed.4 Remove from heat and leave covered for 10 minutes before serving.

Instructions
Hob - From Ambient. Wash 1 cup (250g) of Sushi Rice in cold water and drain. Transfer to a saucepan with 1 1/4 cups (340 ml) of cold water. Leave to soak for 30 mins. Bring to the boil. Cover and lower the heat to simmer for 10-12 mins or until all the water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and leave, covered, for 10 mins.
