Chteau Troupian wine is very feminine and slightly woody with tasty fruit aromas. Up to 7 years reflecting the above notes. After this period, the wine will show more mature characteristics. Serve with grilled lamb, roasted red meatse or cheeses. Chteau Troupian offers a very strong and bright purple colour, with purple shades. Complex, the nose delivers spicy fruit aromas added with notes of coffee and cedar. Soft palate, well-balanced and persistent, Chteau Troupian exalts hints of bigarreau and chocolate. The finish is medium-long. 69% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc This region extends over about sixty kilometres, on the left banks of the Garonne and Gironde rivers, to the north of Bordeaux. The vineyard comprises a pretty, limestone-shale area, ideally orientated and entirely suited to the development of the main grape variety planted here, Merlot Traditional in thermoregulated stainless steel vats.Product information
