Chateau Troupian is part of the Lestage Simon estate and covers 40 hectares located all around the property. Haut-Medoc enjoys a long-standing reputation, which is maybe even better established than that of Medoc itself. This reputation is due to the fact that since it is closer to Bordeaux its vineyard was highlighted right from the 18th century and estate-owners and business people alike have used it to their advantage.. Chateau Troupian wine is very feminine and slightly woody with tasty fruit aromas.
Up to 7 years reflecting the above notes. After this period, the wine will show more mature characteristics.
Serve with grilled lamb, roasted red meatse or cheeses.
Chateau Troupian offers a very strong and bright purple colour, with purple shades. Complex, the nose delivers spicy fruit aromas added with notes of coffee and cedar. Soft palate, well-balanced and
persistent, Chateau Troupian exalts hints of bigarreau and chocolate. The finish is medium-long.
