Classed as a 3rd Growth in 1855, Château Palmer’s offerings consistently outperform its ranking, and is widely considered as one of the finest wines to come out of the Médoc region. Combining a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a touch of Petit Verdot, the 2019 vintage reveals a powerful core of plum preserves, blueberry compote and crème de cassis that’s rich and generous on the palate. Maintaining the unbeatable opulence for which the Palmer vineyard is known, this is a drop best paired with garlic-rich roast lamb.
