Bathtub Gin takes its name from days of yore when cheaper, compounded gins would purportedly be topped off with water from a bathtub top (as the bottles were too tall to fit into a sink). Ironically, in our modern times, the production methods used in the creation of this superb gin are amongst the most expensive in the world. Naturally coloured by the botanicals, this technique lends a most curious tint to the liquid.

History

Back in 2011, Professor Cornelius Ampleforth fulfilled a lifelong ambition when he released his extraordinary Bathtub Gin. Not content with this highly successful experiment, he proceeded to lock himself back inside his laboratory and set about on all manner of additional, exciting projects! The result was an entire range of original and reimagined spirits inspired by by-gone eras and modern technology alike! Whether its cold-compounding or distillation under vacuum, the madcap professor does whatever it takes to produce the finest libations and retain the freshness of the wonderful botanicals he uses.
