We look to Colombia for its celebrated coffee and it didn't disappoint. Grown in the foothills of the Andes, these sweet and delicate beans are decaffeinated using a water-based method. They are then gently dried, ready to be brewed into a beautiful cup full of silky notes with smooth butter caramel and hints of brown sugar and red berries. Subtle sweet, for a well-balanced flavour. Coffee Decaffeination Process: On arrival of the bean, a water-based solution is prepared for caffeine removal. The bean is first steamed to open the pores and prime it for decaffeination, then it's rinsed repeatedly in the solution to remove any caffeine before the bean is finally dried.
