As part of our continuous commitment to improving our packaging footprint, P&G have made two changes in Jan '19 on our laundry products:
1) removed 33% liquid doser caps on all P&G Liquid SKUs2) removed powder handles (large sizes relevant only).
We know that there has been a sharp rise in concern about plastics in packaging and we have identified certain areas where we can reduce the amount of plastic in our products:
Only 1 in 5 shoppers in the UK throws away their liquids doser. In UK we are reducing doser coverage by 33% effective Jan 19 (so 1 in 3 bottles now do NOT have a doser) saving 51 tonnes of plastic a year.
