Turn on and run through the machine. Carefully heat the iron until hot, then unplug and turn down the temperature dial to 'off'. Add 50ml of descaler to the water chamber and top up with water. Hold the iron over a sink or bowl and depress the steam button until the iron is empty. Repeat with fresh water twice.
