Unlike antacids, which neutralise acid already present, Pyrocalm omeprazole 20mg for heartburn works by helping to reduce the amount of acid your stomach produces. Each gastro-resistant tablet is designed to pass through the stomach intact, releasing the active ingredient in the intestine where it is absorbed and takes effect. Take one tablet in the morning, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not chew or crush.
