Leave the shell on the prawns as this will help to reduce shrinkage during cooking and adds to the flavour of the sauce. Empty the contents of the jar of Chilli and Ginger sauce into a stainless-steel saucepan. Heat the sauce up until it starts to boil and then add the prawns, stirring until the prawns are evenly coated with the sauce. Once the prawns start to turn pink and are cooked, 5 to 8 minutes stir in a beaten egg to thicken the sauce if desired.
