For Yorkshire Puddings:
Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C Fan/ Gas Mark 7. Whisk 3 medium eggs and 400ml cold water in a bowl with a balloon whisk. Gradually add the batter mix, whisking until smooth. Add 1/2 tsp of vegetable oil per pudding into 2 x 12 well Yorkshire pudding tins. Heat in the oven for 5 minutes and then remove to add the batter. Divide the batter equally between the wells. Bake in the top of the oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Hob cook.
For pancakes:
Makes 14-16 8inch (20cm) pancakes.
Whisk 3 medium eggs and 500ml cold water in a bowl with a balloon whisk. Gradually add to the batter mix whisking until smooth. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan. Thinly cover the base of the frying pan with the batter. Cook until the underside is golden brown, turn over the pancake and cook to brown on the other side. Repeat until all the batter is used.
